That's Why I Love You

This unreleased original song was planned for inclusion on Van Halen III, but was replaced by Josephina. Since the song was on test pressings of Van Halen III at Warner Brothers, it wasn't long before it became available in the bootlegging community. This was the first unreleased studio track since the Dave-era to make it into public circulation. This was also the first song Dave worked on with the band when he returned to 5150 in 1996.

Gary and Eddie wrote this version of the song at least partially over the phone disagreeing on a proper style for the vocals on the track.
