Secrets

The original title for this track, from the Diver Down album, was "Lookin' Good." Dave was inspired to write the lyrics to Secrets after reading several greeting and get-well cards while in Albuquerque, NM, in late 1980 or very early 1981. The cards were written in the style of American Indian poetry, with lines like "May your moccasins leave happy tracks in the summer snows."

Eddie originally wanted to put this track on Fair Warning, but the rest of the band didn't like the song at the time. Eddie used a Gibson 12-string/6-string doubleneck to record this track. Live he used a custom Kramer doubleneck.
