Judgement Day

This was the first song written in the studio for the For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge album.

The two-handed lick leading into the solo (appearing at 2:50) and again at the end of the track (4:22) features Eddie tapping chords onto the fretboard and was originally part of his tray-table guitar solo on the 1984 Tour.

The day after the band recorded this track, the first Eddie Van Halen Music Man guitar prototypes began arriving at the 5150 Studio.

The song later appeared on the Live: Right Here, Right Now album.
