This was the first song, on the Van Halen III album, for which the music was written after the lyrics. The last verse in the song was originally the first verse.

Though the press proclaimed this as the first time Eddie had sung lead vocals on a Van Halen recording, the actual first time was for the Balance track Crossing Over.
