Crossing Over

This song was included on only the Japanese version of Balance and as a b-side to the Can't Stop Lovin' You single.

Eddie wrote and recorded some of the song in 1983 after a friend committed suicide. It was revived after the death of long time band manager Ed Leffler. Eddie's recorded parts include his playing the drums and singing. The rest of the song was recorded in 1994. Eddie's music is in the left channel, and Al's drums and Sammy's singing are in the right channel. Sammy really loved the song and wanted to remove Take Me Back (Déjà Vu) from Balance and put Crossing Over in its place.
